That’s right, the one thing I’d never thought likely to happen has ….. happened!
Yetian my main in Everquest 2 has managed to get his Mythical weapon, Bite of the Wolf.
My guild neXus is as some of you may know a casual none raiding guild. After joining members from the guild Benevolence on a pickup raid I started talking to one of their number Nillynip, about our guilds helping each other out when needed. This quickly progressed to Benevolence forming an alliance of guilds to raid TSO and Mythical content.
The alliance currently is made up of the guilds Benevolence, neXus, Exiles and I believe Vanguard of Valour. Over the last week we have been doing our first Veeshan’s Peak raid. The zone is open for around 9 days so we raided the place over a total of 3 raid nights.
Despite the problems I have getting home from work in time for the raid start (7pm GMT), I managed to get on for the first raid on Tuesday just gone. I was half an hour late Thursday but still managed to get in as we were missing a few people. Sunday was the day we reached the Ashenclaw encounter and my update the Cinder Wasp Queen who is part of the encounter leading up to Ashenclaw.
Along with Yetian there were other Mythical updates from my guild for Vanwizz our illustrious leader, Nikky, Orang and Geam. That’s a total of 5 mythical equipped neXians, who’d have thought it?
It’s going to be hard for me to make mid week raids as I’ve said, but I’ll be trying to make some or logging on anyway so I’m around as backup should the raid not fill.
I’m not a full time raider and never will be, it’s nice to do them now and again though and to help others in the raid alliance get their updates. Once most of the alliance has Mythical weapons and some better equipment I think the plan is to do some TSO raids from the latest expansion zones. It will be nice to see places like that, I actually like doing the raids to see zones I wouldn’t normally see. I’m not sure I could grind them again and again though, which is why I’m not a hardcore raid player. Well that and I don’t often have the time to do the raids.
If any of the alliance read this, a big thanks to helping myself and other members of our guild achieve something we never thought we would manage. Hopefully we can continue to aid you all in the future.

Hey Yetian,
Ofcourse congratulations on all the mythical updates, and more to come.
We (i think i can speak for most of benevolence) are happy its going into the right direction, and hoping to prep ourselves for TSO soonish.
The guilds participating in this alliance currently are:
Benevolence, Nexus, Forsaken Order, Vanguard of Valour and Exiles. So a total of 5 guilds teaming up.
Hopefully we can bring ourselves to an equal level to some of the raiding guilds. However it will be tough, but thats the plan.
Anyway's, nice post!
Big grats, dude!
Thanks.
Still lots to do, need to work AA on both Yetian and Naitey my Warlock.
Yetian still has 20 ish AA to get and the expansion is out in Feb. Naitey has his epic to finish and shards to save for the rest of his t2 set. Both could use t3 but I don't expect to get much of that to be honest and I'm not too bothered about it as the expansion will bring other equipment. Plus I've only been to WoE once so far, lol.
Oh and I have my army of alts.
Hi Yetian,
Grats on your Myth, I also got mine in the same raid and hope that the alliance will go from strength to strength so that others can benefit also,
Big GRATS agin m8,
See ya in Norrath)))
