My Everquest 2 guild neXus has a regular group night on a Monday and someone (I might have had a hand in it 
), suggested we video the sessions. In our guild we often throw out the rulebook when doing zones, either because we never found it in the first place or due to the fact we just think “to hell with it”.
We thought it could be amusing for the gaming world to see our antics in Everquest 2. The first of our group nights to be recorded was Ward of Elements a 2 group raid zone. The link to our video on livestream is below.
Ward of Elements is the zone where Tier 3 shard armour patterns drop which you need along with your Tier 2 set to make your armour. Shard armour is various sets of armour for one or more classes, which were added with the Shadow Odyssey expansion. Tier 1 pieces requires shards gained from TSO instances or quests to make, Tier 2 requires shards and the matching piece from a previous tier. Tier 3 requires a pattern, the matching Tier 2 piece and shards.
As a guild we’ve just started trying this zone as we now have just about 2 full groups capable of surviving that can be on for our group night.
If we remember to video future group nights I’ll put up links here on MMO-Symposium. If nothing else the video’s will give a more light hearted look at grouping in Everquest 2.
