That’s right, my new Everquest 2 main Yetian has hit level 80 at last!
Yetian as you’ll know if you’ve read my earlier posts, is the name I’ve carried as my main through all my MMO’s, starting in the original Everquest. Although I have one level 80 character already (Mawmet an Inquisitor), it feels much more familiar playing as the name people know me by.
Reaching level 80 also meant Yetian could wear his Tier 2 Warden shard armour set (Untamed Fell), kindly made for me by former guild mate Coriella of Splitpaw, who also donated the shards needed for the armour set.
This new set and therefore this post also links nicely into my MMO fashion series as I have removed my old appearance set and am now proudly showing off my shard armour. The new set actually does look nice so there’s no need for appearance items, well apart from my hat from the Blood of the Brood quest.
The shiny green sword is a Jagged Scimitar of the Scale which might not be amazing stats wise but it’s better than I had and with the new appearance weapon slots coming up will be kept for those slots until I find something that looks better.
Well that’s it for the latest Yetian and MMO fashion post, it may be a while before Yetian gets new appearance armour, but there will be updates on my progress with Yetian and my army of Alts to come. Who knows, maybe one of those alts will have an appearance set worth showing off soon.
