I might give Darkfall another go in future once the game has settled in a bit more. An important factor in MMO gaming for me is my guild neXus and should a few of my guild decide to jump into Darkfall in future, I'll likely follow them back in.

For now I'm trying out Battleground Europe as my 2nd game, after Sres's posts here.

Remember we are always open to good blog writers who play MMO's that we don't.

But Kaligo is right, there was a patch that makes it now rather hard to gank your own people as you will only have maximum 10 positive alignment while you still can have 100 negative alignment. I have seen much less silly ganking now.

However while it can be annoying as hell, it is also kinda fun of always having your pulse running high, coz you got get smacked at any place and any time. Like even when im out harvesting, I will listen very closely to my surroundings. Sometimes I hear horse steps, sometimes I hear people moving through the grass or the sound of an heavy armour, that is all intended and something that differs this game from other games alot. I mean yeah I know how you felt but after a while into the game you learn to adjust, and it makes it really exciting even if you are just out gathering resources.

Also, you should try joining a guild and getting out of those overpopulated areas. I (Human) now live in that northeastern Island. There are faaaaar less idiots out there. And with the guild you always got something to do. For example we now gather and safe up for a ship. Sea combat will be another aspect no other MMO can come up with so far.

I mean common, there is so much more to explore.

And also keep in mind that the game is not really finished yet (although they claim it is) it is patched and changed rather often and I must say, so far only positively.
