Enforced MMO absence

As I said in an earlier post I have been without the net for a bit while I moved house.

The other day I finally had the net installed and setup my PC, albeit surrounded by boxes I still haven’t unpacked.

During my enforced MMO break I did miss playing EQ2 and BE, though I realised when I logged back in for the first time in a while, that I had actually missed one aspect of gaming more than the gameplay itself.

Your year in MMO’s 2009?

Firstly a Merry Xmas  to all MMO-Symposium readers!

As I currently don’t have the net at home due to Virgin’s slack install dates. I’d like to know what you’ve all been up to this year in MMO terms?

What games have you played? Which ones kept you playing and which ones did you try and drop after a beta/first month?

Also which MMO’s are you looking forward to the most for 2010?

Fancy airing your MMO views?

My posting is likely to be a bit sparse over the next few weeks and has been for the past few as I’m in the process of moving house.

It has reminded me of an idea I had previously.

Here at MMO-Symposium we have a few writers who drop in from time to time (some slacking more than others ;) ), though we are always open to more.

Star Trek Online Beta Jan 12th

Wodge, a gaming friend of mine and occasional writer here at mmo-symposium asked me the other day If I was planning to try the beta for Star Trek Online.

I signed up for the beta a while ago, as I do with most of the larger MMO’s. With the announcement that the open beta is due to start on January 12th, I should at least get the chance to try it for a week or two.
